A Post Medieval silver dress pin of bodkin type, sub-rectangular in cross section, c. 17th century AD. The bodkin is broken at the upper section at the point where an aperture is beginning to open. On one side below the aperture is a cast design of two transverse grooves, followed by a design made of four lines that cross each other at the centre (made of a '+' and an 'x').
