Lead alloy button copy. Cast plano-convex uniform button front bearing a Crown Imperial above a bugle with the number 20 between these features, and with a now-crescentic basal legend which probably extended round the button retaining the letters [--]TEERS [--]. This would seem to be the relict of the word Volunteers. There is no trace of a loop or its loss on a featureless smooth back. This is probably a casting taken from a 19th-century military uniform button. A cast copper alloy spectacle (double loop) buckle of c.1550-1650. There are angular lobed knops at two symmetrical points on the external edge of each loop and at either end of the strap bar. The front of the buckle frame has a tapered edge on the loops and strap bar. The reverse has a plain flat surface. File marks are evident on its front surface. The loop of an iron pin is present but missing the main formation of the pin. It has suffered a wide break on one loop. An example can be seen in 'Buckles 1250-1850' by Ross Whitehead fig.382.

A probable Medieval copper-alloy harness pendant dating to circa AD 1200-1400. Plano-convex in section, the piece consists of five - broadly tear-shaped - lobes representing petals arranged in a 2-2-1 formation. At the apex is a transverse projecting collar set below a D-shaped suspension lug. The reverse is plain. The front face retains significant traces of gilding. It has a brown-green patina.  No precise parallel can be found on the database. An incomplete Post Medieval copper-alloy hooked tag (dress fastener) dating to circa AD 1550-1650. The whole piece is plano-convex in section. It is comprised of a rectangular apex loop. The body is sub-circular and openwork. A small fragment of hack silver dating from the Early Medieval period, about AD 850 - 1000. The item is rectangular in plan with straight edges on all four sides.  Both the top and bottom ends have vertical sides that are unaltered.  However, the long edges on both sides display deep cuts that are 2/3 deep and cut from the rear of the item, the final 1/3 has a rough edge suggesting that the initial cut was not deep enough to sever it completely, making it necessary to finish the process by bending and snapping this section from its parent object. Incomplete red-hued flint bladelet, likely dating to the late Mesolithic period, with an almost grainy-like appearance. It is rectangular-shaped, although it is leaning to a tilt. It is a double-edged blade, whereby both long sides are sharpened, while the uppermost short side seems to be the tip of the blade. An incomplete post Medieval cast copper alloy composite two-piece discoidal button. It would have formed the front half of a biconvex hollow button. The face is convex and is decorated with four heart-shapes of punched annulets, arranged in a cross-formation, the whole being set within a circular border. The reverse is concave and terminates in a flat ring that would have been soldered to the mating half. It has a dark grey-green patina. Diameter: 16.0mm (max). Thickness: 5.0mm. Weight: 1.80g.
