An incomplete post medieval, copper alloy cuff link or cuff button dating from c. AD 1774 - 1800. One of the fasteners is now missing. The fastener is oval and depicts an incised foul anchor. In 1774 a foul anchor took the place of the rose on Royal Navy buttons. The rear of the fastener is undecorated. There is an integral looped shank and a drawn wire link, 18mm in length, which would have been threaded to a matching fastener.
