A cast copper alloy single loop buckle, dating to c.AD 1250-1500. The buckle is D-shaped with a narrowed and offset strap bar. The main shaft of the pin is missing but the pin remains and is looped round the bar. Measurements: 23 mm in length, 15 mm in width and 3 g in weight. See No.54 in Whitehead's 'Buckles' and KENT-2CD4F5 for a similar example.

An incomplete Medieval copper-alloy sheet plate probably from a buckle, dating to mid 14th-15th century. The plate is sub rectangular tapering at one end, at the other end the corners are chamfered. It is either a double looped frame with oval loops, or an asymmetric frame with one oval and one rectangular loop. A fragment of copper alloy folded sheet buckle plate of medieval date (c. 1350-1450 AD). The buckle plate consists only of a fragment of c. 1mm thick sheet, broken where it wraps around the pin, ending in a break 22mm away from the outside edge of the plate diagonally across the plate. The plate would have been rectangular, and the sides are parallel. Central to the outside edge of the plate is a 3.4mm wide slot for the pin. An incomplete copper alloy buckle plate dating from the Medieval period, about AD 1200 - 1250. Only the front plate of the plate survives. It is rectangular, wider than it is high, with two hinge tabs projecting from the top where it would have attached to the frame of the buckle.
