A copper-alloy fragment, probably from a Trumpet brooch of Roman date, c.AD 75 - 175. Uncertain Mackreth Type. Only a portion of the bow remains with both ends terminating in worn breaks. An ovate sectioned bow houses possible circular acanthus moulding and a widened band. The fragment is incredibly worn making further identification impossible.
