Copper alloy possible buckle fragment, as kindly suggested by the finder albeit the object is now both thin and asymmetrical in its form. A single oval loop with a pointed spur on its outer edge, and a bulbous integrally cast plate with a drilled hole here taken to be provided for a pin [lost]. A relict curving spur on the inner edge of the plate might point to the former presence of a second loop.
