A complete Middle to Late Bronze Age copper-alloy early unlooped palstave of primary phase group II dating c. 1500-1250 BC.
There is no loop on the palstave. The blade of the palstave is sub-trapezoidal in plan with straight sides and flared blade tips. A complete and well preserved copper alloy side-looped spearhead. It has an elongated leaf shaped blade, with a pronounced mid rib. This ends in a conical socket, widening towards the end. In this are the remains of wood. The side loops are lozenge shaped and are flat to the socket. Complete copper alloy axehead of probable Bronze Age date, possibly early Bronze conforming to Needham's Class 2D Halberton type, c. BC 2350-1601.
The axehead has a trapezoidal shape with straight sides, a broad butt, and very minimal blade tip expansion. The cutting edge is largely in tact and free from knicks and breaks. it has a lenticular, narrow profile. The patina is powdery, pale green with some surface pitting.

A complete copper alloy later Early Bronze Age Aylesford Type developed flat axe (c. 2050-1800 BC). The object has a slightly rounded, narrow butt from which it tapers slightly outwards until it reaches the crescentic cutting blade. The blade is slightly chipped in two places but otherwise complete. The profile of the axe is a sub-pointed oval with both terminals tapering. In section the axe is slightly H-shaped as the side edges of the axe have been raised to form very slight flanges. Where it survives the patina is dark brown.

Large scraper made from an opaque, grey-brown flint with some inclusions. There is a small area of cortex at one end. Both the dorsal and ventral faces show signs of a conchoidal fracture although the scars are weakly defined and may reflect natural fracture. Retouch extends across the upper right hand side of the flint (as shown) and down the right hand side. This is short, scaled and abrupt/semi-abrupt. Circumstances of discovery: Four Bronze Age bronze implements were found during a metal-detecting rally. Three have been reported as potential Treasure; the fourth, made by a different finder, should also be submitted for consideration. The three submitted were located at depths between 1 and 4 inches (2.5 – 10 cm) on cultivated land. They were found in an approximate line at intervals of about 25 feet (8 m) – hence 50 feet overall. Small penannular gold ring with decorative narrow banding in yellow and paler gold. The external surfaces are very worn. Visual inspection suggested that the piece consists of a gold covering over a base metal core; this was confirmed by scientific analysis.

The chisel is in good condition and appears undamaged, with evidence for use wear on the blade edge.
