An incomplete early Venetian soldino, minted between c. AD 1365-1423. The obverse is very worn, but depicts a Doge kneeling left holding a banner, with the mint mark F. Reverse type [S]. MARCVS [VENETI], depicting winged and nimbate lion of St Mark facing within a circle, holding a book of gospels.
