An incomplete cast copper-alloy unidentified object of probable post-medieval date. Description: The object is a flat plate with a single hole through it. There is moulded decoration on one side which is difficult to identify, and the reverse side is flat. The perimeter is shaped with varying curved edges, apparently to match elements of the image. The object has a green-brown patina.    Measurements: Length: 38.3 mm; width 24.7 mm; thickness: 2.2 mm; weight: 6.9g

An incomplete cast copper-alloy brooch (Harlow) of Roman date (AD 50-80). Description: The brooch has a half-cylindrical head with double-pierced lug in which the external cord of the spring and axis bar are held, now missing. The wings are worn. The top lug is rounded and the crest emerges at a low angle from this, flattening  as it travels down the length of the bow. A rim sherd made from a shell-tempered handmade coarseware, probably in the Deverel Rimbury tradition and of middle Bronze Age (c. 1500-1000 BC). The fabric is a reduced dark grey-black, friable and tempered with abundant coarse and poorly sorted sub angular calcined shell inclusions. The rim had an original diameter around 350mm and is decorated with indentations. The exterior surface has no visible decoration.

An assemblage of 7 incomplete struck flint blades (debitage) representing multiple periods of activity from the Mesolithic to early Neolithic periods c. 9000 BC - 3300 BC. The core is conical with a single hard hammered striking platform with a pronounced bulb of percussion and a large area of cortex remaining. There are four unidirectional long blade removals around the core,two with hinged terminations.  The flint is transluscent grey in colour. A complete copper alloy cast palstave with side loop  and lozenge-shaped flanges. The object has a flared blade with a sub- triangular-shaped depression (on front and back) and a worn central mid-rib below the stop-ridge.   The cutting edge is crescentic and relatively unworn; the blade bevels are well formed and the tips of the blade show little sign of wear or resharpening. A silver annular brooch that has a semicircular cross-section frame with a constriction to one side to mount the pin. The frame is decorated with four animal heads that are arranged into two set.
