A complete Roman copper alloy T-shaped brooch, dating to the 1st-2nd century AD. The head has cylindrical wings, folded to encase an iron spindle. There is a central rectangular slot through which the copper alloy pin is hinged. The pin is bent and now sits on the wrong side of the catchplate. There are two pairs of raised lines running around the front of each wing with short parallel lines running between each pair. A probable Medieval copper alloy strap end, dating to c. AD 1200-1500. It is made from a single sheet of copper alloy, which has been folded in half to form a pair of rectangle plates. One plate has a narrowed waist close to the fold and an off-centre rivet at the open attachment end. The rivet has separated from the other plate. The strap end appears to be undecorated and has a mid-green patina. Length: 17.5mm. Width: 17.3mm. Thickness: 3.0mm (max). Weight: 1.83g.

Medieval copper alloy dagger guard, a lozengiform plate with central rectangular tang aperture, two hooked beak-like terminals and a cusped loop on one side, A sub-triangular sectioned moulding on the outer face of the loop projects to a point on one side. A variation on a common type which carries a short quillon with expanded and flat rather than beak-like terminals, e.g. Read 2001 no. 628, DEV-1FDF1 and NMS-57D2E4. Length and width 31.7 x 31.5mm. Medieval folded sheet copper alloy buckle plate with a pin hole, slight frame recesses and a rivet near the attachment edge between two transverse lines of finely executed interrupted rocker-arm engraving giving the appearance of tiny addorsed triangles. Length 23.4mm. Width 12.4mm. The rear part tapers from the fold to a width of 7.4mm and 21.5mm long. Late 13th - 14th century.

Just over half of a post-medieval copper alloy double-looped buckle, both loops oval, very abraded and with one side snapped. The overall moulded decoration on the front face is very worn but enough survives to show it was very close to that on Whitehead 2003, no. 426, which is much larger. Estimated length 36mm. Width 25mm. Mid 16th - mid 17th century.

A fragment of a leg and foot from a cast copper alloy cooking pot or similar vessel dating from the Medieval or early Post-Medieval period, about AD 1250 - 1600. It is roughly rectangular in section, the back being flat and plain, but the front has a narrow, raised, longitudinal ridge in the centre. At the base the leg turn forwards through ninety degrees to form a flat foot. The fragment has a rough dark green patina. It is 31.9mm high, 47.3mm wide and 26.5mm thick. It weighs 117g. See Butler et Al 2009 page 6 figure 4(a) which is also of a similar fragment.

A copper alloy Medieval strap fitting; a strap slide dating from AD 1150 - 1400. It is a trapezoidal loop with a pair of internal projections from the sides near the narrow end. At the wide end there is a knop in the centre of the outer edge. It is 22.1mm long, 16.6mm wide and 3.5mm thick. 1.76g. It has a dark grey patina. A fragment probably from the rim of a copper alloy clapper bell, probably of Medieval to post-Medieval date, about AD 1200 - 1900. Only a small portion of the rim survives. The remainder of the object is missing due to old breaks, now worn and patinated. The rim is thickened and slightly everted. The fragment has a green brown patina. A copper alloy strap end dating from the Medieval period, about AD 1350-1400. The object is made from copper alloy sheet folded lengthways. It is of tongue-shaped rectangular form with a slightly rounded terminal. There is a single rivet at the opposite end, where it would have been fastened to the strap. This attachment end is also broken. It has a length of 17.9mm, a width of 6.3mm, and a thickness of 2.0mm. It weighs 0.89g. Compare Egan and Pritchard (2002) no. 604, pp. 130-131.

A hollow medieval copper-alloy casket key formed of folded sheet, dating from AD 1250 - 1375. The sheet was cut and flattened at one end to form the bow, with a circular perforation. In plan the stem flares out from the bow, then gradually slims towards the bit. The bit is simple with a single ward with a notch in the leading edge. The rolled shank is teardrop shaped in cross-section and open at the bit end. This example has a mottled green and brown patina. It is 46.1mm long, 12.9mm wide and 6.2mm thick. It weighs 5.12g.
