A copper-alloy Roman finger ring, dating to between the 1st and early 3rd centuries AD. The hoop is D-shaped in section with no clear break as it tapers into the shoulders and the flattened bezel. There is a centrally-located oval setting, now empty with traces of an off-white residue visible. Henig Type II, Guiraud Type 2 (possibly 2b). Cf. GLO-1E719A and BH-0FF534. Diameter: 22.03mm, thickness: 3.77mm, width (at bezel): 9.41mm, weight: 5.55g.

Copper alloy brooch of Colchester derivative, Polden Hill type. This has rearward facing lugs on either end of the wings that would have held the pin axis bar, this is missing resulting in the loss of the pin and spring. Remains of a rearwards facing loop or hook are visible on the top of the head. The front of the bow is decorated with two parallel channels that extend to the middle of the bow and would have contained enamel which is now missing. The base of the catchplate is visible on the reverse but it’s hook is truncate.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy late Iron Age to early Roman Langton Down brooch dating to the period AD 25-60. Only the wings, part of the spring and upper bow survive. The lower bow, foot and pin are missing. The wings are cylindrical in shape and composed of a folded sheet. Description: A complete gilded silver engraved finger ring of Late Medieval dating (AD 1400 to AD 1500). The external surface of the ring is fully decorated. At the top, a silver pyramidal bezel of 6 mm in height and 4.5 mm at its widest. The bezel is flanked either side by dragon or snake heads which flow to five conjoined solid hemispheres.
