Early post medieval copper alloy key, 34.4mm in length and weighing 4.35g. The width of the bow is 16.4mm.
The bow is kidney-shaped with two tiny inward projections. The solid stem has a moulding of four ribs just below the bow. The bit is plain and 5.8x5.8mm. The stem extends 3mm beyond the bit.

Roman copper alloy probable vessel mount in the form of a bird. It measures 22.1x4.8xmax.5mm (not including attachment projection) and weighs 1.77g.
The bird is D-shaped in section, and flat and even on the underside, except for the pointed beak that extends downwards (c.2mm long) and the projection at the centre, which is c.1mm diameter in section and 2.3mm long, and extends from a rectangular area 4.8x2.8x2.3mm.

A strap fitting, probably of Roman date. The fitting comprises a loop and two integral plates, back to back, which extend beyond the width of the loop. The plates (only one survives) have a pair of large rivet holes and crenellated terminals. The rivet holes each have cast rings around them. On the inside face of the surviving plate is a cast grid for gripping the strap.

The ventral face is smooth, the dorsal rounded with long narrow flake scars. At one end ?proximal, a transverse blow reveals a triangular section.
The flint is dark/ black in colour with c.60% light patination spots.

A copper alloy mount in the form of a finely moulded deer’s head. The mount is convex and is sub triangular but with the deer’s antlers projecting above. It is 32.6mm long, 29.2mm wide and 7.3mm thick. The stag’s head is moulded in relief. Each antler has three prongs, there is moulding to suggest the animal’s hair on its forehead, the ears and eyes are oval and there are clear circular nostrils. The reverse is hollow and in the centre is the stub of a projecting circular shank which is hollow. The mount has a dull brown patina. A very close parallel can be seen on the database…

Probably Neolithic fabricator with a chisel-shaped end, measuring 55.5x20.7x11.1mm and weighing 13.05g.
The fabricator is triangular in section, the ventral face is smooth, the dorsal worked steeply. Both left and right dorsal edges have semi-abrubt tooling.
The flint is dark/ black in colour with c.10% light patination. There is c.20% cortex on the dorsal face, particularly on the chisel-shaped end.

Probably Neolithic fabricator with a chisel-shaped end, measuring 70.2x7.6x17.1mm and weighing 26.31g.
The fabricator is roughly triangular in section, the ventral face is smooth, the dorsal worked steeply at the sides. Before the chisel end are two wide opposiing notches. These have abrupt tooling.
The flint is light grey in colour with light patination. An area of c.10% cortex survives on the chisel-shaped end.
