An incomplete cast copper alloy Iron Age bow brooch of La Tene I type, 23.2mm in length and dating to the 4th - 3rd century B.C. All that remains is the bow, which has a circular cross section, 4mm in maximum diameter, and tapers at either end to old breaks with the integrally cast spring and head and the foot with catchplate, both now missing. The bow appears to be undecorated.
