An incomplete copper alloy late Iron Age to early Roman cosmetic mortar, dating to AD100- 200. The dish of the mortar is worn, and the edges are mostly missing. The mortar is u shaped in cross section. The mortar rises up slightly to the attachment loop, this originally would have been a circular loop, but it is worn and broken. Only half of it remains. The mortar has a mid green patina, and measures 39.2mm in length, 5.5mm in width, and weighs 3.30g.

At the base of the bow, the convex side of the curve, the bow has a width of 5.0mm. This copper-alloy artefact has an incomplete concave crescent shaped bow with a simplified zoomorphic shaped bovine terminal at the surviving end.
