A fragment of a copper-alloy disc of Medieval date 8th-9th century. All that remains is a quarter of the disc, which has cruciform arms and a chip-carved counter-relief interlace is net-like and occasionally expands to form small triangles. The interlace is abstract, with no animal elements identifiable, but there is evidence of gilding. The reverse is undecorated and has corrosion. The catchplate and pin are missing. An incomplete white metal and copper alloy Dandy/Tombac Button of Post-Medieval date (AD 1700-1800). The button has a tombac or white metal upper disc (an alloy of mostly copper and zinc with some other elements) giving a silvery appearance and copper alloy lower disc. An almost complete copper alloy brooch of headstud type. The bow has a moulded stud on the curve at the top. The short wings extend either side of the head, and above these the plate on which the missing spring and pin would have mounted is present, decorated with three horizontal lines. The bow ends with a circular foot. The catch plate is present but incomplete. The cylindrical mount for the spring is still on the reverse but is incomplete.
