Worn and corroded fragment of a copper-alloy horse figurine of probable Roman date. The fragment consists of the horse's head and upper part of the flanks, breaking off just after the whithers. The head is missing both ears, and no indication of the position of eyes and nostrils can be seen. The mane consists of a thinner protrusion directly upwards, and has either broken off near the neck, or was portrayed as having been cropped short.
