A complete but slightly warped cast lead toy house of post-medieval date (c.1700-1800). Description: The toy is formed from a thick rectangular sheet of lead with central upright projection. The base is off centre on the base. The upright section is rectangular in plan. The front face is plain with raised impressions of four windows and a central door. Complete copper alloy toy platter of late 17th or 18th century date (c.1680-1750AD). The platter is rectangular in plan.  It has a broad flange and a flat base.  There is a rope-twist rim and the flange is decorated in relief with foliate scrolls and single stylized flowerheads.  There is traces of red pigment on some of the flowers.  The base is decorated in relief with a pair of fish, laid head to tail, within a rectangular rope-twist border. Cast tube with a longitudinally drilled channel of diameter 3.7mm which breaks into a wider cavity of 8mm diameter, representing a miniature pistol barrel with hexagonally facetted external sides, which is met by an integrally cast curving stock or handle with a blind conical hollow in its end. Assemblage of unfinished Post Medieval lead alloy toy whirlygigs or buzz discs in various stages of manufacture. 1 & 2 are oval in plan whilst 3 and 4 are more or less circular. The finished toy would consist of a flat disc of sheet lead alloy with a serrated edge with, usually, two adjacent string holes either side of the centre. Of the assemblage discs 1 and 2 have been cut out and sighting indentations for the perforations made. A complete cast copper-alloy toy musket dating to circa 1600-1640. The barrel is hollow and octagonal in section, with facetted sides. The lock has an opening to apply a match; in front is a moulded wedge which imitates the lock mechanism which levered a match into the powder on the full size weapon. The stock is triangular or fishtail shaped and sightly bent. The rectangular trigger guard is retained. The surface does not show any decoration. Cf. Egan and Forsyth's (2005) Type 5.

A virtually complete cast copper alloy toy miniature cannon of post-medieval date (c.1700 - 1850). An incomplete lead or lead alloy whirligig or buzz wheel dating to the Post Medieval period (c. AD 1600-1700). The object is sub-circular in plan, with a serrated outer edge. The edge is chipped in two areas. There are two evenly spaced drill holes set along the centre of the toy. The object is undecorated and has a mid-grey patina.  Comparable examples recorded on the PAS datbase include LVPL-585419,  LEIC-009F89 and SWYOR-A36133.  The overall dimensions are as follows: 32.44mm in diameter, 5.61mm in thickness and 24.56g in weight.

Late Post Medieval to Modern lead alloy toy gun or petronel handle in two pieces. The longer piece has remnants of the iron rivets that attached the firing mechanism and one at the butt that attached the othe half of the handle. the shorter piece alo retains some of the joining iron rivet. Date range c1850 to c1914 AD. Piece 1 - length 38mm, width 11mm, thickness 3mm, weight 4.79g. Piece 2 - length 32mm, width 11mm, thickness 6mm, weight 5.87g. Total  weight 10.66g.

A copper alloy object, probably a toy cup or chalice. It dates from the Post medieval period, about AD 1600 - 1900. It is circular in cross-section. It has a solid disc at one end, then a narrow neck, before a wider hollow tubular element. The object has green/brown patina. Measurements are; height 20.2mm, diameter 13.1mm, internal diameter of cup 7.7mm. Weight 7.81g.
