Cast gold plate terminal, mount or fitting probably originating from from a larger object. The object is broadly trapezoidal in plan with rounded edges, consisting a decorated front plate that overhangs a rectangular box-like fitting attached to the back of the object. To this in turn is soldered the remains of a thin gold strip, possibly reflecting some sort of hoop or broken suspension loop. A gold Roman circular mount. In the centre of the mount in a raised Julio-Claudian bust, probably of Augustus. On the reverse is the concave reverse of the bust. It is likely that the gold has been rubbed over an object, possible a coin, that depicted the bust. Around the bust is a circle of raised dots. Next around this is a single raised, plain band outside of which is another ring of, this time larger, raised dots. The outer edge of the disc has suffered damage at the 2-5 o'clock and 8-9 o'clock positions.

A Frankish gold mount set with garnets and green glass. This ornament consists of a circular gold plate with raised rim, having fixed on it, in gold mountings, a square green stone or piece of cobalt glass and three triangular and three lozenge-shaped red stones (garnets). There is no sign at the back of any pin attachment, the two projections being part of the sockets for the irregularly shaped stones. The weight is 3-80 gm. Description: An incomplete gold possible decorative mount of possible Roman or Anglo-Saxon date. It is rectangular in shape and now distorted and bent with one end being folded over backwards and a longitudinal dent across the centre of the front face.
