Bezel from a base metal (pewter) finger ring. The bezel is oval with four projections forming 'corners'. On its face are four holes which may have once held settings. Between them is a cross made up of incised lines, some of which may retain traces of inlay. There are also signs of grooves around the holes. The hoop had a flattened D section and was decorated with circumferential line either side of which is a row of deep, angled notches.
