Medieval or post medieval tin alloy pin, probably from a catch, brooch or buckle. It is broken into two pieces and there is wear on one side of the tip. The pin is in two pieces. It is formed of a rectangular strip bent at one end, 12.8mm long by 5.1mm wide and 1.7mm thick. The second piece has part of the strip which expands into a triangular tip 15.5mm long, 11.1mm wide and 3.2mm thick. Both pieces together weigh 2.3 grams. The fragment is hard to date but the material suggests a late medieval or post medieval date

A copper-alloy strap or belt fitting. The item is trapezoidal, resembling a rectangle that does not have its sides at right angles and the two shortest sides lean in the same direction. This appears to be a result of design as opposed to damage. The fitting is pierced in the centre of both of its long sides, presumbably for accomodating a bar on which the fitting would pivet. Any such bar is now missing. The frame broadens to 5.1 mm at the point where these piercings are, before tapering to 2.7 mm, which is the thickness of the rest of the frame. The item measures 44 mm on its length a…

The object is a circular annular loop which is trapezoidal shape in section. The widest edge of which forms the base. The base is flat and undecorated with slight casting seams at the edges. The upper face has two protrusions forming a 'C' shape on its side. The protrusions appear to be worn, and may have originally formed a loop. The protrusions are sub-triangular in section. On the opposite side of the upper face are two curved grooves forming a low-relief sub- 'C' shape on its side. The item has a well developed grey/green patina. The item feels it is functional and not decorative.
