A cast copper alloy livery button. The face depicts a bull's head erased engorged of a ducal coronet, with a Tudor rose to the left and a portcullis to the right. The reverse has a stump for a loop shank with the maker's mark FIRMIN & WESTALL which dates the button to 1794-1811.

The face is engraved with a six pointed star, with punched annulets at the centre and crescents between the rays.
