Three rim sherds, probably of tankards or bowls. The body of the vessel is straight. The sherds are of the same oxidised fabric. The fabric has a mid grey core and orange coloured surfaces. It is quite soft with powdery surfaces. The sherds weigh 30g. The fabric is probably Severn Valley Ware. It probably dates to the 1st to 4th centuries (Webster, P 1976 'Severn Valley Ware: A Preliminary Study' Transactions of the Bristol and Gloucestershire Archaeological Society Vol. 94).

The sherd is a body sherd with a high relief design. The overall design is indistinguishable. What is visible is a vertical zigzag design, with a similar design protruding to the left. In the upper quarter there appears to be a small figure walking, below portions of two concentric rings. To the right of the vertical line appears to be a column decorated with obliquely angled lines. The sherd is slightly abraded.
