The head presents a helmeted male with very worn details. At each terminal there is a concentric circle below which is a ridge and two rows of small circular pellets. The detail at the centre of the face has been worn. The reverse is concave and undecorated. The concave edge suggests this was not hung from clothing, but rather fitted with another piece, such as that found on a belt or sword/dagger mount. Cast model of a cockerel, the head of the model is damaged though the comb is still visible, wings represented by lateral ridges and with a prominent tail with curving upper edge and the feathers represented by grooves.
