A complete copper alloy finger ring dating from the 2nd to 5th century (c.AD150-450)
The ring comprises a D-section hoop and flat, oval bezel with pronounced (2mm) knobbed shoulders. The hoop is 1.1mm thick and 22.45mm diameter; the oval bezel is 14.55 x 16.5mm x 1.1mm thick. The ring appears to have been cast as a single piece and finished with a file. The surface is rough and shiny brass-coloured except in small patches where a darker material is visible. A complete Roman copper alloy finger ring with a blue glass intaglio dating from c.AD 150-350.
The ring has rounded a D-shaped band that terminates with a pair of lateral projections at either side of the bezel. The band has a diameter of 20mm. Faint filing marks are visible on the band. The bezel (9.5mm in diameter) is flat and circular and holds in the centre a damaged blue glass intaglio of a carved human face. The reverse of the bezel is flat and has a small perforation to one side.

Decorative gold stirrup-shaped ring. It has a small bezel for a small blue sapphire, en cabochon. The hoop is of D-shaped cross-section (flat internally). The internal hoop diameter is 19.4 x 20 mm (very slightly misshapen). Minimum band width 2.6 mm; minimum band thickness 0.7mm; weight 3.22g.
The ring has not undergone any cleaning or conservation.

An incomplete gold finger ring of medieval date (c.AD1200-1400). The plain hoop is round in plan, tapers from the shoulders toward the base. The hoop is D-shaped in cross section at the shoulders before tapering to a flattened oval cross-section. The hoop has been pulled out of shape, possibly due to damage within the plough soil.

The ring is a memento mori ring with a hoop of flattened D cross-section. The outer surface is engraved with a skull flanked by repeating vegetal pattern of stylized flowers and scrolls, inlaid with black enamel. The inner face of the hoop is inscribed with the text: In remembrance of TA, in italic script. This is followed by a rectangular hall-mark, possibly a B (hard to decipher).

Silver gilt posy ring, very worn on outside but probably once gilt all over. The broad hoop has a plain outer surface, and a flattened D cross-section. The inner face of the hoop is inscribed with the text: FEARE + GOD + ONLY, in Roman capitals.

A late Early Medieval copper alloy finger ring possibly dating to c. 850-1066 AD. The finger ring comprises a flat undecorated oval bezel with a pierced hole which is 5mm in diameter. The hoop has tapering ends which are knotted together in the form of 6 coils. The ring has a very dark green patina. There are remains of a darker glossy patina on the external and internal surfaces.
The finger ring is 20.5 mm in length, 21.5mm in width, 9.1 mm in thickness, and weighs 3.42g.

A late Early Medieval copper alloy finger ring possibly dating to c. 850-1066 AD. The ring has a triangular cross-section and is decorated on each side of an axial rib. The design is difficult to ascertain due to ware but there are signs of diagonally incised lines on each side and the rib of the hoop. The hoop tapers to a narrow end of 1.7mm thick. The ring has a very dark green patina. There are remains of a darker glossy patina on the inside of the hoop.
The finger ring is 23.3 mm in length, 25.2 mm in width, 4.2 mm maximum thickness, and weighs 4.1 g.

A late Early Medieval copper alloy finger ring possibly dating to c. 850-1066 AD. The bezel is flat and lozenge shaped with punched dot decoration. The surface is quite worn so it is difficult to see if the decoration is compiled of ring-and-dot motifs or just dots. The dots seem to form rows from the top edge to the bottom edge of the bezel. The hoop is flat and rectangular in shape. The hoop narrows slightly from 4.8mm to 2mm and forms two overlapping rounded terminals. .The hoop bends inwards slightly. An incomplete Anglo-Scandinavian Silver finger ring. Constructed from two plain rods twisted together with a thin braided wire between, which is now only evident in one groove inside of the tapering hoop. The ring's diameter is 22.70mm, it is 5.06mm thick and it weighs 3.83 grammes. The object is mostly in good condition with some abrasion evident from its deposition in course, flinty soil.
This form is akin to Viking-period gold and silver neck and arm rings of c 10th-11th centuries, like those from Skaill, Orkney, and Wipholm, Germany.

A silver ornamental ring, broad flat band with a beaded borders within circumferential ridges. The ring is inscribed with 'star GODDRED'. The band has been cut between each D in the centre of the name with a D either side of the cut.

A gold loop, bent up at two sides to form a V-shaped ring. The wire from which the loop is formed is circular in cross-section, polished smooth but showing a few scratches and hammer marks. There are some flattened areas on the internal surfaces, either from wear or from the manufacturing process.

Treasure reference number 2016 T328: a Roman silver bezel from a finger ring. The bezel is circular in plan with a flat surface and a gently curved perimeter. The underside is slightly concave. An incomplete silver finger ring, of Late Roman dating (Later 2nd to 3rd Centuries AD).
Around 50% of the finger ring is present, consisting of the bezel and part of the hoop. The intaglio is missing, presumed lost in antiquity.
The bezel is rectangular, with an oval intaglio setting positioned centrally. Traces of a white paste or possible solder are still present within the setting.
