A near complete cast copper-alloy vessel probably of Medieval date, c.1100-1300.
Description: The vessel is shaped like an ampulla, with a bulbous rounded body, narrow neck and open oval/circular side handles (one missing), decorated with grooves/mouldings, but unlike the typical pilgrim souvenirs it is not made of lead alloy. The flask is in very good condition with a smooth, slightly pitted surface and no holes or surface damage. The inside is hollow/empty now.
Measurements: 49.46mm high, 29.86mm wide and 30mm thick and 64.04g in weight.

A fragment of early-Medieval cast copper-alloy penannular brooch of Booth type H, dating to the period c. AD 400-700.
About a third of the brooch frame survives, the right arm of the brooch. It has a roughly D-shaped cross section. It splays slightly towards terminating in a triangular terminal typical of the type. The object is a circular brooch decorated with what appears to be two lions each being ridden by a nude figure. The lions are positioned rear end to rear end with the individuals leaning in towards each other. The design is separated by the pin, creating a symmetrical design.

Description: The padlock is broadly cylindrical, with a hollow, facetted barrel, hexagonal in cross-section. The barrel is decorated with six incised parallel lines, closely spaced together, around lower half of the barrel, at each end. A worn iron sword pommel of Oakshott Type A, Petersen Type X, dating to c.950 - c.1200.
Description: The pommel has a typical 'Brazil nut' shape, with a relatively high convex bottom faces and sides. The sides meet at a ridge along the top, leaving it sub triangular in cross section it has a rectangular slot in the base for attachment to the swords handle. It has highly pitted and increasingly flaky surface.
Measurements: 63.06mm long, 35.43mm wide, 38.93mm high and 310g in weight.

Description: The strap-end is broken into two pieces and represents the front of the composite clasp. It comprises a trapezoidal box plate, open at one end and closed at the other, with an elaborately decorated circular panel and zoomorphic clasp terminal with transverse piercing. Description: The boss is circular and domed in plan with a flat flange as a border. The border is incomplete with four cardinally opposed rivet holes. The flanged border has a double incised chevroned border but is missing roughly a quarter of its circumference. An incomplete later Early-Medieval zoomorphic bridle mount or cheek piece.
It has one surviving sub-circular terminal loop (internal measurement 10.78mm tall 14.65mm wide) with concave reverse and bevelled sides forming a D-section shank on which there is a decorated square boss before attaching to the main decorative plate. The shank and terminal loop measure 29.24mm long and 21.4mm wide at the loop. The central body is round being 19.7mm in diameter with two smaller circular lugs, 9.1mm in diameter above and below, that have fixing holes containing the remains of c/a rivets. The central portion is decorated with a heraldic shield in a field of blue enamel. Description: The fragment survives only as the loop and part of the body of the fitting. The body has incised lines possibly outlining the intended shape of the fitting based on a more complete example (NMS-4C2396). The body appears to have rivet holes in.
