A fragment of a struck or hammered Silver coin possibly of Henry IV, mint possibly Calais. It is in the shape of a minor sector of a circle.
The obverse has "LIE" written across the legend with a cross mint mark on top. The bust of the king is facing forward with a flat crown.
The reverse has the letters "LA" with a double saltire stop.
The coin is 8.93mm wide, 11.24mm long, 0.38mm thick and weighs 0.2g.
