An incomplete early medieval silver penny of Cnut (1016-1035), Short Cross type (North 790) dating to c.AD 1029-1035/6, moneyer: possibly Boia/Boga, mint: Dover. Ref: North 1994: 168, 173; cf. Naismith 2017: nos 2040-42. The coin is missing around half of its outer circle, which is broken along the line of the inner circle. The flan is cracked and corroded.
