A silver cut half 'Tealby' (AD 1158-1180) cross and crosslets type penny of Henry II, AD 1154-1189. Both sides of the flan are very worn and this coin has been horribly struck. Reverse legend is illegible. Reverse shows a short solid cross with a crosslet in each quarter. Obverse legend is illegible. Obverse shows an unclear forward facing crowned bust with hand holding sceptre (only the hand and sceptre are just visible). Type not further identified. Die axis is uncertain. Weight is 0.52g, diameter is 17.4mm.
