A silver Medieval coin; a post-treaty penny of Edward III (AD 1327 - 1377), dating from AD 1369 - 1377. It was minted at York. The name in the obverse legend is illegible, but the DI GRA is clear. There are double saltire stops. There are no marks by the crown, hair or neck visible. On the reverse, there is a quatrefoil at the centre and a saltire before CIVI. The coin measures 16.7mm diameter, 0.5mm thick, 0.83g. See North number 1294.
