Silver groat of Henry VI annulet issue minted at Calais dating to 1422-1430AD. Obverse has the crowned bust of the king facing forward with an annulet either side of the neck. The legend which reads hEnRIC DI GRA REX AnGLIE Z FRAnC Reverse has a long cross pattée, with 3 pellets in each quarter plus an annulet in quarters 1 and 3.  The cross divides a double circle of inscription. The outer inscription reads POSVI/DEVM A/DIVTOR/E MEVM (annulet after POSVI; double saltire stops after DEVM and single saltire after ADIVTORE). The inner inscription reads VIL/LA/CALI/SIE …

Silver penny of uncertain king, a contemporary counterfeit probably modelled on a leaf-pellet issue of Henry VI, the obverse legend seems to end AVG and what is left of the reverse legend reads DOnDOn, probably because an L punch was lacking, but with the quatrefoil at centre appropriate to York, worn and struck on a small flan to give the appearance of having been clipped, 0.47g, c.1445-1500
