A complete Medieval silver cut farthing of Henry II (1154-1189). "Tealby" Cross-crosslets type (1158-1180), minted at Gloucester. Class A, c. 1158-1161 (North 1994: 217, ref: 952).
Obverse: + (cross pattée) [hENRICS REX ANG]; Crowned bust facing wearing armour and mantle with sceptre in right hand.
Reverse: [ ]N·GL[ ]; Large cross potent with small cross potent in each angle.
Length: 10.0mm; width: 9.3mm. Weight: 0.36g. DA=12:9.
