A medieval silver coin of Edward IV (1461-83), an Irish penny, Light 'cross and pellets' coinage (1473-78) type 22, mint: Dublin (Spink S6367); Lynche's portrait punch (July 1473-August 1474). Ref: Spink 2003: 133-35; cf. Mac Conamhna 2017: 114, fig 5. The diameter is 13mm, and the weight 0.5g. Obverse inscription is illegible but would have read [EDWARD DI GR DNS hYBE] Reverse inscription [CIVI/TAS/D]UB/LIN The coin is heavily clipped.

Pellet before obverse legend; Spink 6258 or 6259; North Group B.2. (North, J.J., 'The Anglo-Irish Halfpence, Farthings, and Post-1290 Pence of Edward I and III', BNJ 67, 1997). It is 16mm in diameter and 0.4mm thick, and weighs 0.53g.
