A complete silver hammered Irish farthing of Edward I, dating c. 1281-1284. Dublin mint. Obverse; crowned bust facing within beaded triangle, ERA/NG/LIE in spandrels. Reverse; long cross quartering coin, three pellets in each angle, CIVI/TAS/DVB/LINE. The coin is particularly well struck on a circular flan and is relatively unworn. C.f a similar example on PAS, IOW-0DED69.
