Damaged hammered silver penny of Edward II. A class 15b (North 1067) Dating from 1319 to 1321AD. The obverse has an angled E and C, very wide, well shaped side fleurs and poorly defined ornaments. The bust has a smiling face though this is not evident due to the degree of wear and is slightly smaller than a 15a. The obverse legend is EDWAR R ANGL DNS HYB which is a characteristic of class 15.
