A base silver Post Medieval coin; a penny issued in the reign of Edward VI (1547-1553), third period of coinage, about AD 1550-1553. The coin is somewhat worn and the surfaces corroded. Though no mint mark is visible, it was probably a mullet. Mint of York. The obverse reads E D G [ROSA] SINE. SPINA, depicting a Tudor Rose. Reverse legend reads: CIVI/TAS/[EBO/R]ACI, depicting a long cross fourchee over square topped shield bearing the royal coat of arms. The coin is 15.0mm in diameter, 0.8mm thick and weighs 0.59g. North number 1946.

A plated silver Roman denarius of Vespasian (AD 69-79), dating to the period c.AD 69-79 (Reece period 4). Unclear reverse type possibly depicting Salus or similar seated figure left on throne. Prototype of the mint of Rome. cf. RIC II.1 (2nd ed.), no. 522 for a possible reverse type.  The coin is 19.2mm in diameter, 1.5mm thick, and weighs 2.42g. It is unusually thin for a denarius and has a light green patina with a silver wash.

A copper-alloy Roman coin; probably a base metal contemporary copy of a denarius. It is possibly copying a coin of Diva Faustina under Antoninus Pius, dating from AD 141 (Reece Period 7). Illegible obverse, with the reverse depicting a woman with a veil blown out round her head. There are also letters in the reverse field. Compare YORYM-8E7EFA for a possible prototype, and see RIC 351 a and b. Dimensions: The coin has a diameter of 14.6mm and a weight of 1.87g.

A copper alloy or base silver Roman coin struck on an oval flan, probably a very worn denarius or counterfeit denarius, of an uncertain emperor, AD 43 - 410. Obverse shows a bust right, but only the ends of the diadem or laurel wreath are visible. The reverse shows a standing female figure (possibly Annona) left with an object in the left field, possibly a modius. The coin is too worn to identify and is illegible, but the reverse is possibly similar to BERK-304C36. The coin is 16.93mm in length, 14.91mm in width, 1.9mm thick and weighs 2.63g. There is a crack or fold in the flan.
