A gold undiagnostic finger ring.
It has been looked at by Judy Rudoe and Jody Joy of the British Museum and the Treasure Registrars.
The finger ring has been bent and distorted out of shape. The hoop has a circular section, no bezel, shoulders or other decoration is evident.
This ring is likely to date to the 18th - 19th century.

Probable Roman Gold finger ring, 68mm long, 10mm wide and 4mm thick. The object is in fair condition and weighs 6.33grams. The band has broken off at the bezel and has been flattened out, forming a flat band. This is attached to a circular domed bezel which is missing its setting. The outside of the bezel and the band is decorated with a band of raised semi-spheres. It is plain and flat on its underside.

Deeply dished coin of thin gold; incomplete - the edge is damaged in one place and incomplete on the opposite edge (apparently made that way). Diameter 15.5mm, thickness 0.3mm, thickness as curved 3.8mm, weight 1.17g.

Early Saxon gold composite spangles or pendant: a square sheet plate is set lozenge-wise and pierced for suspension at one corner, the top of the perforation is almost worn through. Wire rings with wound ends hang from the other three corners, each holding a smaller square sheet plate pierced for suspension in one corner. TREASURE CASE: 2009 T445 - A complete but distorted medieval gold finger-ring, the twin bezel is set with two stones, one red, the other green. Each shoulder is decorated with an applied leaf. The plain hoop of the ring is now distorted.
The ring has been dated to the fourteenth century c.1300-1400.
Non-destructive X-ray fluorescence analysis of the surface of the ring indicated a gold content of 80-83%, a silver content of 8-10%, the remainder being copper. The red stone was identified by Raman spectroscopy as corundum (ruby) and the green stone as beryl (emerald).

Gold annular brooch dating to the Medieval period.
A medieval brooch with a circular hoop, flat on the reverse. The front is ornamented with four punched bosses and four flowers placed at equal distances. Three of the flowers are soldered to the frame and the fourth is soldered to the attachment loop of the pin.
The brooch is gold and dates from the late thirteenth or the fourteenth century.

Gold fitting decorated with filigree and enamel, in the shape of a stylus eraser, possibly from a styliform pin. It is basically a hollow cone, now flattened to become triangular, and open at both ends; at the narrower end there is an oval aperture measuring 5 x 2 mm, surrounded by a plain square-section wire. Incomplete gold fragment of a finger ring of later Georgian date (post 1800). The style of the square shaped stone setting which is braised onto the hoop confirms the date. The stone is a mid purple colour and has been burnt or decayed considerably.
It measures; 21.0mm length, 14.2mm wide, 9.4mm high and the hoop is 0.5mm thick, the bezel is square and measures 11.4 x 9.3mm and is 3.2mm thick. The ring weighs 3.32 grams
The ring was reported as potential Treasure but does not qualify due not being more than 300 years old.

The coin weighs 1.88 grammes, and measures 14.9 by 15.4 millimetres. The obverse shows a beardless laureate head to right, with a horse to right on the reverse. The edges of both obverse and reverse are worn smooth but otherwise the condition is very fair, and that is reflected in the high weight. The weight and size establish the coin as a quarter-stater. Coins such as these are Gallo-Belgic A, the earliest significant stratum of Iron Age coinage…

A Medieval gold finger-ring consisting of a wire loop and cone-shaped bezel. The loop is sub rectangular in plan due to damage, being 18.8mm long and 15.9mm wide, and is oval in section.
