An incomplete copper-alloy probable late medieval to early post-medieval English or French uniface coin weight for uncertain denomination. The outer face bears the raised design of a shield with unclear arms, possibly crowned surrounded by what appears to be a tressure-like double linear border. Just over half of the original object survives and the breaks are very well worn, obscuring much of the detail. As such only a general late medieval to early post-medieval date range can be suggested.
