Two copper alloy nummi fund very close together and from a point very close in time to one another. They are surely part of a purse loss or hoard and thus went into the ground together. However, as they are of copper alloy and there are ess than ten of them they do not constitute a case of Treasure. A hoard of four post-medieval silver coins (two sixpences and two threepences) of Elizabeth I dating to AD 1576-1590. The hoard had a face value of 1s 6d (=18d) in c. AD 1590, equivalent to around £12.87 today. The silver of the coins has tarnished. Coins one and three are in a similar condition, with the inscriptions remaining in relief. Coin four is more worn. A Medieval coin hoard comprising six silver medieval coins (of Henry VI, Edward IV and Henry VII) dating to c. 1422-1509. The hoard had a face value of 1s 8d (=20d) in c. AD 1510, equivalent to around £55.23 today. The coins are all in a similar condition; with inscriptions remaining in relief. Coins 1, 2, 5 and 6 are tarnished, whereas coins 3 and 4 remain silver in colour.
