An incomplete Post Medieval copper-alloy handle from a knife dating to circa AD 1600-1650. Cast in two pieces, the extant element consists of a moulded male figure wearing a hat and playing a bagpipe. The figure surmounts a rectangular-sectioned socket which terminates in an old break. Both faces of the socket are decorated with a foliate design which is now heavily barded. A similar more complete example is recorded under NMS-03A28B highlighting that the foliate design on the socket faces would have been inlaid with enamel. Incomplete perforated Roman Coin. A worn and Roman copper alloy radiate which has been pierced in the centre. The obverse and reverse details are very worn and hard to decipher, apart from a radiate crown, and possibly an alter reverse. There is an inscription on the reverse but it is very worn and illegible. Possibly struck AD260-296.  The coin measures 14.39mm diameter with a perforation measuring 4.62mm.

A complete, pressed copper alloy token, a 'condor' token, dating to the late post-medieval period, AD 1794. This is a Colchester halfpenny token. The obverse has a depiction of Colchester Castle with the date 1794 below and the reverse has the depiction of a loom with the inscription: SUCCESS TO THE BAY TRADE. These tokens were issued during the late 18th century when there was a shortage of change in the country.
