An incomplete worked stone or rubbing stone or 'muller' of unknown date, but probable prehistoric, given its findspot context. It is likely constructed from a fine-grained granite. The fragment is trapezoidal in plan. On one side it has been ground flat with a slight indentation, and the other side has been ground in a convex shape. A worked ground and polished axehead, of a black hue, of probable Bronze Age date. Found with items possibly of the Bronze Age period, but its dating in relation to these finds could not be verified, as it was an historical find, once part of the Zennor Wayside museum's collections, and so, its exact geospatial provenance is unknown. Possible quern fragment, likely from the base. It looks to be made from a pitted greenstone. Due to its findspot context, it is likely to be Iron Age in dating, although secure dating is impossible, given its fragmentary state, but it is likely to be of prehistoric-Iron Age dates. The butt end of a broken Neolithic stone axehead. Although the end of the blade is missing the face of the axehead appears to be a narrow symmetrical ovate (FS02) with a thin asymmetrical profile (classification P04) and a narrow oval section (classification CS09). Incomplete weathered and altered gabbro axehead with what appears to be hornblende vein inclusions. The butt end of the axehead is formed and has survived and the blade end has been damaged through use and resharpened. Incomplete coarse-grained gabbroic greenstone axehead which is a typical torpedo shape that is formed of the local Group I type rock (Mik Markham pers comm). Fine-grained Limestone saddle quern. A neat sub-rectangular block of stepped wedge-shaped profile, worn on its upper surface with a flat base which is indented only at its thicker end. A stone possible gaming piece of possible Roman date, AD 43 - 410. The object is formed from a very smooth circular pebble, identified by the finder as Cornish greenstone. The pebble has two shallowly convex faces and rounded sides. It would have functioned well as a counter or gaming piece. It may have been naturally formed but collected for use as a playing piece.
