Lead or gun-metal cast of a Sestertius of Orbiana, wife of Severus Alexander (222-35AD). Type as RIC IV, pt. 2, p. 122, no. 657. It is hard to say whether this is a contemporary or modern copy. Cast coins were produced in the 3rd century, often called "Limesfalsa", singular "Limesfalsum". However, this piece is apparently not made from copper alloy, but from a lead or zinc based alloy. To make a more considered judgement, the Finds Adviser would need to see this coin.
