Lithic implements 1) Three microlithis, average size length 13mm, width 8mm, thickness 4mm. All have one arise on the dorsal, no bulb of percussion on the ventral. Two have a creamy patina, one is a dark grey flint with a speckled creamy patina. These artefacts date to the Late Mesolithic. 2) End scraper length 43mm, width 33mm, thickness 19mm. Cortex coverse 80% of the dorsal, bulb missing from the ventral. The forward edge has very rough retouch which is direct, scaled, semi-abrupt with a convex forward edge. Roman glass vessel: 44 sherds from a cylindrical bottle. Common in the last quarter of the first century and went out of use in the early second century, however were reused in creamtions - such as this example. Not enough of the vessel survives to estimate its height, vessels of the same form vary between a height of 150-400mm, with a body diameter of 80-250mm. This vessel is likely to be one of the shorter examples. The surviving sherds weigh approximately 287.32grams. Lithic implements 1) 4 Truncated blades average size length 12mm, width 13mm, thickness 3mm. Two have one arise and the last has two arises on the dorsal. One is the proximal end, one medial and the last is the distal end of a blade. One has a creamy patina and the other two have a light creamy-grey patina.
