A complete cast lead weight or crude spindle whorl of uncertain date. The object is sub-circular in plan with an off-central perforation and is undecorated. The metal is a light greyish-white colour and is worn. The weight 20.1mm in diameter, 4.6mm thick and weighs 9.6g. Lead spindle whorls and weights were commonly used from the Iron Age through to the post-medieval period and are difficult to date with any certainty.

A complete cast copper alloy book fitting of post-medieval date. The fitting has a sub-ovate main plate with one flat end and one curved. A rectangular projection extends from the flatter end curving back on itself to form a hinge. The curved end extends into a rectangular neck with a fan-shaped terminal. The neck and terminal are also folded over back on themselves to touch the reverse of the plate. The reverse is flat and undecorated. The metal has a mid brownish-green patina and is worn. The book fitting is 32.1mm long, 16.2mm wide, 0.9mm thick and weighs 2.1g.

A complete cast copper alloy casket key of medieval date. The key is small with a circular cross section. The bow extends from one end of the stem and is circular in plan with a circular central hole. The opposite end of the stem terminates in a worn point below which a double warded bit projects. The metal has a mid reddish-brown patina and is worn. The key is 43.6mm long, 9.6mm wide, 4.2mm thick and weighs 3.7g.

An incomplete cast copper alloy object, possibly a ewer spout or similar, of medieval to post-medieval date, circa AD 1400 -1700. The object is sub-triangular in plan with a curved, semi-circular profile. One edge is flat, presumably at the point at which the spout would have joined the vessel proper, and the other end is curved. The object is undecorated. The metal has a mid blackish-green patina and is worn. The object is 69.4mm long, 22.2mm wide, 3.6mm thick and weighs 47g.

A complete cast copper alloy sword pommel of Early Medieval date, circa AD 900 - 1100. The pommel is broadly triangular in plan with a convex base and a circular perforation at the apical knob through which the tang of the sword would have originally passed. The pommel consists of five hollow curved lobes which decrease in size from the central and largest lobe. A complete cast copper alloy harness mount of medieval date. The mount is lozenge shaped with an integrally cast circular sectioned shank projecting from the centre of the reverse. An incomplete cast lead pilgrims badge or pendant of medieval date, circa AD 1300 - 1500. The badge is in the form of a scallop shell with broken and worn edges and two holes for attachment at the flat terminal. The scallop shell was the symbol of St James and originally that of his shrine at Santiago de Compostela. Scallop shells therefore served as pilgrim souvenirs which signified that pilgrims had completed their journey. The metal is a dark brownish-grey colour and is worn. The object is 43.9mm long, 38.8mm wide, 6.2mm thick and weighs 53.4g.

A cast lead papal bulla of Pope Clements IV dating to the medieval period. Clements IV was Pope from 5 February 1265 until his death 29 November 1268. The obverse of the bulla is stamped with the faces of the saints Peter and Paul within a border of raised pellets. Above the heads within the border, the saints' abbreviations are visible with 'SPA' for St. Paul to the left and 'SPE' for St. Peter to the right. A flint thumbnail scraper. Possibly made from a modified 'pot lid'. There is evidence of working around large areas of the circumference where the edges have been retouched. A slightly larger flake has been removed from one side. The flint is greyish-white in colour being heavily patinated. It has significant iron staining. Possibly Bronze Age (c2100 to c800 BC) but impossible to date accurately.The length is 23mm, the width is 19mm, the thickness is 5.5mm and the weight is 2.25g.
