An incomplete Medieval copper alloy sheet buckle plate. The frame of the buckle and the back plate is missing. The buckle plate was formed of a single piece of copper alloy sheet bent in half to give a front and back plate but has a breaks at the bend where it would have gone over the bar of the buckle frame. A very small silver annular brooch dating to Medieval period. It is complete with separate pin in situ. The frame has rounded edges and a circular cross-section. It has a small constriction to hold the pin. The pin is circular in section and is looped loosely around the bar. It tapers to a rounded point and it is now slightly distorted.
