A slightly worn, incomplete and slightly bent mid 16th-century base silver post-medieval halfgroat of Henry VIII of Edward VI, Third coinage (Henry VIII) or struck in Henry's name (under the rule of Edward VI), Canterbury mint, (1544 - 1551 AD; North 1852 or 1881). The coin has suffered considerable circumferential losses and abrasions.
