A complete Early-Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) to Medieval copper-alloy ball-ended strap-end (c. 1050-c. 1400). This strap-end has a ball with nipple. Projecting from the ball are two parallel plates which are 'D'-shaped in cross-section, flat on their inner faces. At the attachment end the plates are pierced by a copper-alloy rivet which is circular in cross-section. The strap-end is dull green. An incomplete Medieval to post-Medieval copper-alloy openwork mount or stud, possibly from a mazer (vessel), box, casket or cross. This object is irregular in plan and sub-rectangular in cross-section. The front is moulded and the rear is largely flat. Grooves and ridges at the front form a stylised or evangelistic winged lion. A fragment of a possible Medieval copper-alloy object, possibly part of a folding balance (c. 1300-c. 1500). The misshapen remains consist of part of one arm. At one end, which is flattened, a break has occurred across a circular loop hole. Adjacent to the hole are two baluster-like mouldings, one above the other. These are oval in cross-section. The remaining part of the object is circular in cross-section and tapers to an abraded break. The surfaces are uneven with traces of a green patina. The breaks are old. An incomplete Medieval cast copper-alloy harness fitting (c. AD 1200-1400). This fitting has a circular hole at each end for a separate rivet which is now missing. One end has an elongated knop. At the front it has an integral rectangular loop. The surface is flat at the rear except at the end with the elongated knop where it is concave. The surface of the metal is brownish purple and it was probably gilded. However, none has survived. 52.53 x 11.95 x 7.48mm. Weight: 7.60g. A similar pendant has been illustrated (Griffiths 1986: 4. ref: 22).

An incomplete Medieval cast copper-alloy spur buckle (c. 1250-c. 1400). This buckle is largely convex at the front and flat at the rear. The loop is incomplete due to abraded breaks. The circular area, about 14.0mm in diameter, has grooves at the front which form a six-pointed star. These grooves are inlaid with gilding. The pin is missing. This buckle is generally corroded and has traces of a green patina. There is a line of casting sprue at the rear. 48.6 x 17.3 x 2.8mm. Weight: 7.33g. A similar buckle has been published and dated c. 1250-1400 (Whitehead 1996: 33, ref: 182).

An incomplete cast copper alloy compasses nib of Modern date, c. 1900. Length: 47.0mm; width: 12.3mm and 10.9mm thick. Weight: 7.78g. The object is in the form of an ink nib with an adjustable screw to enable the width of the nib to be varied. This nib could also belong to a pen rather than compasses. The object mainly has a mid-green patina and is iron stained at the attachment end.
