A copper-alloy double-loop buckle, dating from the late medieval to early post-medieval periods. The symmetrical frame comprises two broadly D-shaped sides, arranged back-to-back, with the central axis bar forming the inner limb of each. The pin rests, which occupy the two vertical outer sides of the frame, have scalloped edges and transversely grooved upper surfaces. The axis bar is of trapezoidal cross section. Length: 27.9 mm; width: 22.9 mm; thickness: 2.3 mm. Weight: 4.34 g.

Just over half of a post-medieval copper-alloy double-loop buckle. The intact side of the frame is D-shaped and of flat section, the width expanding towards the outer side. At the centre of this outer side is a pin rest in the form of a moulded rosette. A swirl projects from either side of this rosette and lines of pellets decorate the rest of the surface. A copper-alloy awl, probably dating from the Late Bronze Age The widest part of the awl is approximately one third of the way along its length; either side of this point, the piece tapers. The longer portion is of rectangular cross section, displays evidence of filing on its surfaces and tapers to a wedge-shaped terminal. The remaining third also has a broadly rectangular cross section, but in this portion the corners have been deliberately removed, probably by filing. A post-medieval copper-alloy drop handle from a piece of furniture. An angular hanger with horizontal bar projects from the top of the broadly D-shaped handle. This handle gradually widens towards the bottom, where there is the forward-facing mask of a cherub, moulded in high relief, flanked by a pair of wings, between which is what appears to be a trumpet. A Neolithic to Brone Age flint end scraper. The tool is has been made from a tertiary flake which is sub-oval in plan, has a bulb-of-percussion at the proximal end of the ventral surface and sub-vertcal arrises on the dorsal surface. Confined to the distal end, retouch is long, sub-parallel and semi-abrupt. The flint is dark greyish-brown with blueish-white patination. The other edges display evidence of post-depositional damage. A barbed and tanged flint arrowhead of Early Bronze Age date. The arrowhead has been made from a tertiary flake and is sub-triangular in plan, having a central tang but retaining just one of its original two barbs.The tip also appears to have been broken and there is an area of damage one third of the way up one side. The piece is bifacially worked, the retouch being covering, scaled and low angle. The flint is a recorticated light grey to white, with a mottled blue surface in places. Measurements: 25.4mm long,16.7mm wide, 3.6mm thick, 1.15g.

A small corner fragment of a socketed axe dating from the Late Bronze Age, probably around 1000-800BC. The fragment is long, retaining the corner of the mouth moulding and a smaller moulding below. An incomplete copper-alloy Roman disc brooch, probably dating from the 1st to mid 3rd century AD. The booch has a damaged circular plate with raised rim and slightly recessed upper surface, in which are possible traces of enamel. Located at the top of the reverse, the hinge comprises two parallel right-angled lugs with rounded tops. A short axis bar sits within two opposing perforations in these lugs and holds in place the distorted copper-alloy pin. There is no trace of the catchplate. Maximum diameter: 29.5mm; height/depth: 12mm. Weight: 3.53g.
