The hollow object is sub-crescentic , with two touching points at the apex. The undecorated surface has a blueish-green patina and is pitted from corrosion.

The copper-alloy spring is contained within a cylindrical, open-ended casing.A remnant of the pin projects from a central slit in this cylinder. The upper surface of the short bow is decorated with a series of parallel vertical ridges and grooves.
