A fragment of an Early Medieval copper-alloy cruciform brooch dating to circa AD 475-550. The extant piece consists of a side knop which would have been attached to the headplate of the brooch.. It is dumbbell shaped in plan and plano-convex in section, with a flat reverse. The front face consists of two lobes joined by a constricted mid-setion. Each lobe is decorated with three incised transverse grooves. At the efge of one of the lobes is a shall median rectangular groove which would have facilitated attachment to the brooch. An incomplete copper-alloy Early Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) cruciform, dating to AD 420-480. The foot is missing. The head plate is rectangular and has an integral full rounded top knop; the latter has a domed head, a waist and a base, which extends outwards on the front face. An incomplete cast copper-alloy Roman or later Iron Age bow brooch of La Tene III or Nauheim derivative type. A portion of the integrally cast spring is retained separately. The bow has a flat cross sectional profile and is lenticular in shape, expanding to a maximum width of 8.5mm at the lower end before tapering sharply towards the foot which has largely broken off. The bow is decorated with a double row of punched dots along both lateral margins.

A fragment of a cast copper alloy Roman brooch of Colchester derivative Harlow double-lugged type dating to the first century AD. The arms are hemi-cylindrical and decorated with transverse ridges. The spring is held on a copper alloy spindle in a double lugged flange at the centre. Approximately half of the spring and the chord are retained. The bow is narrow and strongly arched, lenticular in cross section and decorated with a ridge along the spine. The rest of the bow, the foot and the catchplate are missing.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy early medieval (early Anglo-Saxon) small long brooch dating to c.AD 450-550. Penn and Brugmann (2007) Sm2 or Sm3.
Only the headplate and part of the bow has survived. The headplate comprises a trefoil head with three projecting sub-rectangular lobes with semi-circular cut aways at each angle. The bow springs from the headplate; it has a D cross-section and is decorated on the convex side with oblique indentations where the bow meets the headplate, creating a trapezoidal block at the upper portion of the bow. An incomplete cast copper-alloy disc brooch of Early-Medieval date. It is missing a small part of the plate and pin due to old breaks. The brooch has a flat circular plate with openwork and moulded decoration, although corroded. This comprises a central cross-shaped motif with central lozenge shaped panel and circular perforations in each quadrant. At the centre of the lozenge is a slightly raised conical boss. A complete lead alloy Early Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) nummular brooch. Discoidal in plan and flat the front face is decorated with a human figure holding a staff and with a crown, sat on a bench holding a figure, either a child or animal, within a border of raised pellets or beads. An incomplete cast copper-alloy Roman (British) plate brooch dating to the late 1st-mid-3rd century century AD (c. AD 80-250).
It has an oval flat disc decorated on one side. The decoration consists of a thick band of corroded dark blue enamel with five surviving sub-oval empty recesses, surrounding a circular recess and a sub-oval centre. Part of the plate is missing. The reverse has traces of the lug and catchplate. The pin is missing.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy Roman (British) plate brooch dating to the late 1st-mid-3rd century century AD (c. AD 80-250).
The brooch is almost complete, with part of the pin missing. It is a circular flat disc decorated on one side with a multi-angled polygon, however, the corrosion and dirt conceals the decoration. Traces of red enamel are visible. The design is surrounded by a border. The reverse has the sprung spring mechanism.

A cast copper alloy Roman Trumpet brooch, 50.83mm in length, missing its spring and pin. The head is oval with a protruding lozengiform terminal at the front and single hinge loop underneath. The bow is of triangular cross section divided centrally by a pair of reels with a central button. The lower part of the bow tapers to a moulded foot with a deep triangular catchplate beneath. An incomplete Early Medieval copper-alloy ansate brooch dating to circa AD 700-1000. Cast in one piece it consists of two flat discoidal terminals at either end. One terminal appears to have been slightly miscast with a circular protrusion projecting from one edge. The bow has a triangular-section and is curved in profile. The terminals and bow are undecorated. Projecting from the reverse of one of the terminals is a heavily corroded lug which would have held the now missing pin. There is now no trace of a catchplate projecting from the reverse of the other terminal.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy Roman Colchester derivative hinged brooch dating to c. AD 43-120.
The brooch has tubular wings enclosing an axis bar, with a slot in the centre for the pin. Only remnants of the pin has survived inside the slot. The bow springs out from the wings, it is D-shaped in cross-section, tapering to a broken point. The brooch is very corroded and worn, no traces of decoration are visible. The pin and catchplate are missing.

Copper alloy brooch of Colchester derivative, Polden Hill dating AD 75-200. It has rearward facing lugs on either end of the wings that would have held the pin axes bar, but one wing is truncated resulting in the loss of the axe bar, spring and pin. The head of the bow has a tapering triangular panel with expanded shoulders. In the centre of the head is a crest with a loop at the back that would have held the external cord of the spring. the remainder of the bow is undecorated and the catch plate on the reverse is complete.
