A complete Post-Medieval cast copper alloy double loop trapezoidal buckle, dating to the period c. AD 1620-1680.
The frame consists of two trapezoidal loops whose outer edges are wider than their inner edge by the strap bar. At the centre of the outside edges sit triangular pointed protrusions, each of which has a horizontal groove acting as a pin rest. The frame also has ovoid knops on each of its corners, which along with the triangular pin rests gives each outer edge a trefoil appearance. At the top and bottom of the strap bar is a much smaller lobed protrusion.…

Description: The fragment depicts the image of the character Punch from the Punch and Judy show. just his head remains, which faces front right and the bottom of his hat can be seen. There is a maker's mark reading 'S&Co' on the left hand side of the head.

A complete cast copper alloy zoomorphic strap fitting or belt hook, dating from the Post-Medieval to Modern period (c. AD 1700-1900).
The fitting is S shaped in plan, and D-shaped in cross-section, being in moulded relief on the front and flat on the back. Either terminal end of the S shape represents the tail of a serpent; at the centre of the S shape the snakes' heads are twisted around each other so that each one's head rests on the body of the other.
